HELLO!

I’m Sophie — a life-long creative maker, dog fanatic, and Bay Area resident.

Since receiving my MFA in Design in 2017, I have been working professionally as a graphic designer and art director, helping bring brands to life with a keen eye for clean and elevated design systems and applications. I have extensive experience working for luxury brands such as Compass, as well as years under my belt working in media, where I’ve created visual identities and supporting visuals for countless podcasts and media properties. Presently, I work full-time as Senior Designer at KQED.

Outside of work in design, I have always found comfort and joy in maintaining some semblance of an analog art practice in painting, drawing, and printmaking. This year, I’ve been honing my technique in watercolor, finding inspiration in cityscapes and things that bring me comfort and joy (namely pets and botanicals). I balance my own practice of generating new work with custom commissions for personalized gifts and bespoke wedding packaging.
